lalala~

Damn .. It’s Saturday! And I'm totally no mood to work! Saturday is supposed to be the day that you can wake up late, relax and do something that you like! And yet, I have to force myself to wake up early, glue my butt on the chair, fix my sleepy eyes on the monitor screen and pretend to work! T_T Luckily I learned some useful skill of slacking from work from KennySia –maximize whatever program that makes you look like you are working, and restore the “others”.. hihi.. Like this:

And yes! I’ve been surfing net since 8.30a.m (despite the time when my boss come in). haih… bored bored. Why they want people to work on Saturday anyway? I mean, it’s Saturday! I bet most of them will be thinking what the do after this rather than focus on their work. And what’s the point of working half day??? You can’t get any progress by working barely half day? Can you? Or may be I’m the only one thinking that way? No matter how, I’m just an industrial trainee in this company. I got less work to do, less thing to worry compare to others.

Ohya, I'm working in Titan Petchem as an industrial trainee and It is my 4th month here already, and I still gt another 3 months to go!

(night view of the plant)

I like everything here, beside their canteen food and SATURDAY WORKING SHIFT! :p People here are friendly, well mannered, helpful and sporting! I'm having alot of fun here, learning and enjoying myself. I'm sure gonna miss this place when i leave.

yeah! It's 12.30! There goes my Saturday workshift. Hahaha... may be they should reconsider this system... say.. may be this work shift is excluded for trainee like me??? hahaha....

BALIK!

Hello!

"I think I should start writing blog in English, to improve my English. But I scared they laugh at my English leh.."

"No worries, so obvious d, u gt nothing to hide"

@#&$*%(!)$(%*#*

My name is Ying Ying. This is the conversation that I had with my ex bf in MSN when I was considering to start blogging in English. Before this, I'm blogging in mandarin at friendster's blog. It is also to catch up my mandarin. I've stop writing, and rarely spoke in mandarin ever since I entered university because most of my friends in university are English educated (so called 'banana') and I've to communicate with them using English. As a result, my English level upgraded from "Broken English" to... erm "OK English" (not really proper yet). I guess this is support by the fact that I managed to "tipu" my bf, who is also a 'banana'. :p However, my mandarin is degraded from "Mandarin" to "Banana's Mandarin" -- mixing mandarin and English in a sentence (no offense)

"wo yao chi rice" ------ I wanna eat rice.

"ta bu hui appreciate wo de help." ------ He'll not appreciate my help.

"ni good ma?" as in " ni hao ma" ------ How r u? ß this 1 exaggerated 1 la

One thing that hurt me the most is I can't even produce a good quality and powerful script for my Chinese debate competition last year even though my essay writing in mandarin had always been categorized in "not bad" category by my teacher during secondary school. This has triggered my decision to catch up my mandarin, especially in writing. So I started to blog in mandarin.

Now, I think is time for me to improve my English as well. So please bear with my English ok? :p

Okay! I'll tell more about myself in the next entry and will explain about the picture I posted in the last entry. It's getting late, if I don't sleep now I will properly doze off while working tomorrow. Till then, see u!
